چکیده

In this article, we provide the first commented edition and translation of an important fragment from Vladimir Zabugin’s posthumous work “The History Christian Renaissance in Italy” (Milan, 1924). Zabugin was a Russian historian, philologist thinker, who lived worked Italy quarter 20th century. He made contribution to history ideas with his concept “Christian Renaissance”, abolishing postulated antithesis Middle Ages as well idea revival antiquity. A sudden death mountaineering accident Italian Alps prevented completing outstanding monography: editing text, compiling notes, bibliography, name index, absence which it very difficult for specialists refer text. That is because special focus present article lies commenting guiding reader through key conceptional points. The presented chapter book sought emphasize continuity classical christian culture proto-Renaissance literature, philosophy, architecture, fine arts. Refering eve (13th century), clearly demonstrates how “imperat” here, pagan one “ministrat”.
